  • APAC saw a decrease in transaction volumes to 1,419 deals, with Japan leading in the number of deals announced.

  • Increasing interest in the industrial sector, particularly those with an ESG angle, alongside ongoing activity in IT and services.

  • A&NZ's share of global M&A fell to 8% in Q3 FY24, while APAC's overall share increased, driven by Japan and India.

  • Average EBITDA multiples increased from 11x to 15x, with consumer foods and industrials leading the rise.
