Moore Australia’s 4-day annual national Graduate Conference brings together around 40-50 graduates each year and delivers extensive training and development to help graduates launch their professional careers with the best possible start. The conference covers key topics such as ethics, technical skills, professional and personal skills such as work/life balance, networking, personal branding and much more.

A key part of Moore Australia and Moore Global’s culture is a strong commitment to be a driving force for positive change. The social ambition strategy aims to harness the collective power of the global network to be a positive influence. A central element of the graduate conference is to instill among graduates their responsibility to their wider communities.

The Good Box creates thoughtfully curated boxes filled with essential items such as food and hygiene products for those experiencing homelessness. Each box further contains a message of hope and support from the person who packed the box.  But it's more than just the contents that make these boxes special; it's the message of hope and dignity they carry.

Moore Australia and The Good Box previously partnered during the network’s annual Audit & Tax and Business Advisory conference in November 2023, when delegates packed 28 boxes for people experiencing homelessness in Melbourne and learnt more about the factors and stigma that surround homelessness.

Lachlan Goss attended the previous (2023) graduate conference and is now a Graduate Consultant, Governance & Risk Advisory at Moore Australia (VIC/TAS). He is also a Social Ambition Ambassador for the firm’s Melbourne office.  He commented: “Part of what I love about working at Moore Australia is the commitment to staff and community. They look after you during a crucial development stage in your career, encourage training and development, but don’t lose sight of those who need help the most”.

Madelyn Jones Co-founder and CEO of The Good Box commented: “Corporate partnerships such as those with Moore Australia not only provide valuable resources to those who rely on us, they help in creating awareness around the stigma of homelessness. They are part of a compassionate gesture that acknowledges and supports the humanity of each recipient.”

Bridgette Breddin, Regional Social Ambition Ambassador at Moore Australia commented: “As a 500+-strong network in Australia and 34,000+ network globally, we have a huge opportunity and potential to affect real change. By working with The Good Box, we're not just supporting a charitable cause; we're actively participating in a movement that drives positive change in the community.”
