Moore Stephens to open in Geelong

Steve Sakkas

  • Bringing new expertise and resources to one of Victoria’s fastest growing regions
  • Creating growth and development opportunities for our business and staff
Geelong is the second largest city in Victoria and part of the G21 region, which has a population of 300,000 and is the fastest growing region in Victoria.

This adds a whole new element to our business, with a regional presence, new industry sectors and a new client base with whom we can share our knowledge and provide the benefits that a larger, well resourced firm like Moore Stephens can offer.

The region is steadily diversifying from a manufacturing economy to one based around education, health, scientific research, advanced manufacturing, innovative agribusiness, specialist insurance and personal injury services, state-of-the art information and communications technology, tourism and other key service industries.

Moore Stephens has substantial expertise in these new-growth industry sectors, and will use its depth of experience and extensive resources to help the region’s businesses grow and meet the challenges they face.

The Geelong office will be staffed with local directors and professional staff, combined with expertise and resources from other parts of the practice as required. The office will open on 12 September at a prime location in Ryrie Street.

We are also pleased to announce the promotion of Robert Manson to Director, Business Advisory on 1 July 2016.

Robert specialises in wealth creation with a focus on minimising tax and improving cashflow, and the operation of self-managed superannuation funds. Robert’s clients range from small to medium enterprises to large multi-national companies, as well as family groups with investment income.

Robert also has experience in strategic business and tax advice and has consulted extensively on business acquisitions, sales and restructures.

Robert has developed strong relationships with all his clients and is always looking for ways to deliver value.

He is a respected individual with great integrity.

Moore Stephens values the continuous growth and development of its team members, and we congratulate Robert on his promotion.

It’s an exciting start to the new financial year for Moore Stephens and we look forward to sharing our journey with you.
