As you may be aware, the Federal Election has now officially been scheduled for 2 July. The election will be a double dissolution election, the first since 1987.
We note that both the House of Representatives and the Senate were dissolved at 9am this morning and that no budget measures Bills were introduced to Parliament last week. Which budget measures proceed will therefore depend on the outcome of the election to be held on 2 July.
