With his career spanning over 35 years, David has gained significant experience in the corporate and commercial sectors, including working with family owned businesses.

With a track record of maximising relationships with new and existing clients, David has demonstrated strong internal/external negotiation skills with a focus on achieving a structured solution for clients, as well as gaining maximum returns for financial institutions. 

David specialises in the following:

    - Assess funding options across traditional debt, mezzanine finance, hybrids, structured finance and superannuation fund money
  • Acquisition funding and strategy
    - Develop and execute funding strategies for M&A initiatives, strategic growth opportunities and large capital expenditure projects
  • Restructuring and negotiation
  • Assist clients manage lender relationships, negotiate covenant adjustments and facility extensions as well as advise on restructuring and recapitalisation options
  • Determine the most appropriate debt structure for the business
  • Run a competitive process with a group of the most suitable lenders
  • Assist in the lender diligence process
  • Negotiate final terms with the selected lender
  • Manage the lending process all the way through to completion
  • Reviewing and negotiating convertible loan terms or other structured loan products
