About the role
As a Manager you will play a key role in supporting Partners in providing clients with high quality advice and technical support. You will oversee and work closely with the accounting business advisory team and assist with managing the team workflow whilst providing leadership in service delivery, innovation and planning to meet the firm’s goals.
You will have the opportunity to:
- Work on A grade clients
- Use your expertise to manage workflow and review work
- Manage your own portfolio of clients, as well as interacting with the team
- Coordinate and take point on client meetings, ensuring the client’s needs always come first
- Provide personalised, strategic advice and innovative solutions to support the client’s needs
- Assist with developing team capability through succession planning, training and career development
About you
You are a professional individual who aligns with our CARE values (Collaboration, Agility, Respect, Enthusiasm), someone who wants to add value to a team and firm looking to make the right move for their career, ideally possessing the following highly desirable attributes:
- 2+ years Manager accounting experience in Public Practice
- CA/CPA qualification
- Capable of interacting and leading a team with an ability to build and foster strong relationships
- Technical skills in relation to accounting, compliance and advisory
- Experience with Xero, MYOB and Reckon
- Strong communication skills
- A Can-Do, client focused attitude
- Deadline driven with sharp attention to detail
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Great at building rapport and trust with team members and clients
