Job Description

The Opportunity

Based in our Brisbane CBD office we are looking for an Analyst or Senior Analyst to join our integrated Tax Consulting and Transfer Pricing team ready to take on new challenges and be a part of Moore Australia (QLD/NNSW) continued strong and dynamic growth strategy.  As an Analyst or Senior Analyst in our team, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Work alongside the Director in Charge of Transfer Pricing (Australia and APAC), providing advice and solutions on a variety of transactions
  • Engage directly and personally with multinational clients on all types of intra-group transactions including sales of tangible products, intellectual property, services, financial transactions and business restructures, dispute resolution, and CbCR obligations
  • Apply Australian and OECD Transfer Pricing Guidelines to client engagements and prepare transfer pricing documentation
  • Be involved in intimate and direct client contact with both national and international clients, conducting functional analysis interviews and discussing transfer pricing matters
  • Conduct financial and economic analysis including benchmarking intercompany transactions
  • Assist in advising clients on transfer pricing issues including planning, anti-avoidance measures and risk reviews/audits
  • Attend internal and external training sessions, including the input of potential training topics to enhance the knowledge of other team members
  • Foster and contribute to a client-focused team and supportive workplace culture

About You

You are a professional individual who aligns with our CARE values (Collaboration, Agility, Respect, Enthusiasm), someone who wants to add value to a team and firm looking to make the right move for their career, ideally possessing the following highly desirable attributes:

  • Previous experience within Transfer Pricing, Corporate and International Tax, Law,  Valuations (or relevant commercial experience)
  • Excellent commercial awareness with a background in Commerce, Economics and/or Law
  • Financial or statistical analytical experience including Excel modelling
  • A deadline driven focus with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to build rapport easily with a diverse range of stakeholders (internal and external)
  • Demonstrated interest in individual client needs
  • Strong communication and report writing skills

Prior experience working in a professional services firm within the last 2-5 years (or commercial equivalent) will also be highly regarded.
