Perth, Australia. Moore Australia (WA) has announced the promotion of Chris Linnell to Director and Jessica Spark to Associate Director within its Local Government Services team, strengthening the firm’s capability.
Moore Australia (WA) is an independent member of the Moore Australia network, which has four independent member firms with 13 offices and 600+ staff across Australia, delivering accounting, tax, audit and advisory services.
Local governments are operating in one of the most demanding environments the sector has seen, with the constrained operating environment, infrastructure renewal, workforce pressures, governance expectations and community needs all converging at once.
The appointments recognise the depth of local government experience within Moore Australia and the firm’s continued focus on helping local governments build practical, resilient and future-fit services for their communities.
Chris brings extensive executive and advisory experience across local government in Western Australia, South Australia and New Zealand, including chief executive and senior corporate, community and planning roles. Jessica has spent more than a decade supporting local government clients at Moore Australia, with specialist experience in integrated planning and reporting, community engagement and long-term strategic planning, along with ten years’ experience as a local government officer.
Together with Russell Barnes, Samantha Bresciani and the wider Local Government Services team, Chris and Jessica will help lead the next phase of Moore Australia’s offering, supporting local governments with financial, advisory, planning, reporting, governance and assurance services founded on our extensive experience.
