Chris joined Moore Australia’s specialist Local Government Advisory team in 2026 after an extensive executive career spanning local government in Western Australia, South Australia, New South Wales and New Zealand. He served as Chief Executive Officer of two Western Australian local governments between 2017 and 2025 and brings deep sector knowledge gained from more than two decades of leadership experience across governance, strategy, organisational development and service delivery.
Drawing on his experience as both a senior executive and trusted adviser, Chris works with elected members, CEOs and executive leadership teams
to strengthen governance, enhance organisational performance and address complex strategic and operational challenges. He is highly regarded for his practical understanding of the local government environment and his ability to translate legislative requirements, strategic priorities and community expectations into effective organisational outcomes.
Chris provides strategic advice and support across governance frameworks, integrated planning and reporting, organisational improvement, workforce planning, risk management and policy development. His firsthand experience leading local governments enables him to bring a uniquely practical and informed perspective to the challenges facing councils and communities.
