I advise local governments across Western Australia on governance, financial management, statutory compliance and strategic planning matters. My work focuses on helping councils navigate legislative requirements, strengthen governance and risk frameworks, and make practical decisions that support sustainable outcomes for their communities.
I have 25 years’ experience in the local government sector, including roles as both an officer and consultant, with particular experience supporting rural and remote local governments. I have also contributed to the broader sector through my role as a Director of LG Professionals WA from 2010 to 2020.
My work includes strategic integrated planning, long-term financial and asset management planning, policy development, governance reviews, risk management and legislative compliance. I regularly present at industry workshops, translating complex governance, risk and internal control concepts into practical guidance for local government officers and council members.
