In this challenging and rewarding role, you will partner with Managers and Directors to deliver high-quality accounting, taxation, and advisory services to a diverse and technically complex client base.

Operating within a collaborative and high-performing team environment, you will play an active role in reviewing the work of junior team members, providing guidance, and supporting their ongoing development. You will also build and maintain strong client relationships, gaining insight into their day-to-day operations and delivering practical, commercially focused advice to support business growth and performance.

As a Senior Accountant, you will contribute to fostering a high-performing team culture while consistently delivering exceptional outcomes for clients. Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Producing financial reports, mainly using Xero and MYOB, including maintaining the clients accounting and reporting systems
  • Autonomously preparing and reviewing individual, company, trust and partnership financial statements and tax returns, as well as BAS’s for our more complex clients
  • Preparing budgets, management accounts, and cashflow forecasts across a various entity structures and industries, including involvement in regular client meetings to discuss
  • Assisting with the coaching and development of junior colleagues

About you

About you

The successful candidate will bring strong experience within public practice accounting, supported by a relevant tertiary qualification, and will ideally be CA or CPA qualified (or working towards). You will have an established background in professional services, with experience delivering both taxation compliance and business advisory services across a diverse and technically complex client base.

You are proactive, personable, and detail-oriented, with a strong commercial mindset and a genuine interest in how businesses operate and grow. A collaborative team player, you enjoy working closely with others, supporting junior team members, and continuing to develop your technical expertise, including a solid foundation in taxation.
