I advise business owners, family offices, and high-net-worth individuals on tax strategy, business transactions, and long-term wealth creation, with more than 25 years’ experience as a chartered accountant in Melbourne.
I work with a broad range of clients, from owner-managed businesses and family groups to global multinational companies. My practice spans construction, property development, medical, professional services, technology, and managed funds. Over 25 years in practice, I’ve guided clients through business restructures, mergers, acquisitions and sales, as well as capital and debt raising. That depth of transaction experience means I understand what’s at stake when you’re buying, selling, or reshaping a business, and I can help you work through the financial and tax implications at each step.
My work extends well beyond core compliance. I prepare financial statements and manage tax lodgements covering income tax, GST, land tax, and stamp duty. But much of what I do sits in the advisory space: estate and succession planning, business structuring, and tax strategy designed to minimise your tax liability and improve cash flow. Self-managed super funds have become a core part of the wealth creation strategies I develop with clients, particularly where property, investment income, or business assets are involved.
I meet with clients regularly, not just at year end. That consistent contact means I understand your business as it evolves, so I can spot issues and opportunities before they become urgent. Responsiveness matters to me. I return calls and emails quickly, and I’ll often stop by a client’s office if something needs attention. Originally from South Africa, I’ve called Melbourne home since childhood. Outside of work, you’ll find me on the tennis court, out cycling, or on the golf course. With two children keeping me busy at weekend sport, time with family and friends is what I value most.
