Tax, SMSF, and business advisory for small to medium businesses and family enterprises in Geelong and across Australia.
I advise owners and leaders of small to medium-sized businesses and family enterprises and primary production businesses on tax, business structuring, compliance, succession planning, and self-managed superannuation funds. My clients are based in Geelong and across Australia, and they come to me when they need someone who can simplify complexity and help them make confident decisions about the things that matter most to their business, their family, and their retirement.
I’m an advisor for all things – for families and businesses, whether your situation is straightforward or genuinely complex. For more than 15 years, tax, SMSF, and business advisory have been my focus, and I work with clients through every stage of the business lifecycle: from the early growth years through to restructures, succession, and the long-term planning that shapes a family’s financial future. In recent years, a meaningful part of my work has been with primary production businesses – from smaller family farming operations through to larger agricultural enterprises. I work closely alongside their other advisors – agronomists, financial planners, lawyers, and lenders – coming together at the table to cover everything they need, from farm succession and estate planning, to tax structuring, trust and entity arrangements, asset protection, SMSF strategies, and the seasonal and longer-term financial planning that comes with running a primary production business.
Before joining Moore Australia in Geelong in June 2025, I led the accounting division at a multidisciplinary firm in Geelong, where I managed a team of 15 across tax, advisory, bookkeeping, and client services. That experience shaped how I work today. Complex tax matters are part of the everyday, whether it’s small business CGT concessions and Division 7A, property and capital gains issues, SMSF compliance and investment structures, or the structuring questions that come with inter-related family groups. Earlier in my career across Newcastle and Ballarat, I worked with clients ranging from small sole traders to complex family groups, building a strong technical foundation across compliance, advisory, and superannuation work.
What I value in client relationships is straight-talking advice, clear communication, and follow-through. The best work I do happens around the kitchen table or in the room with a client’s other advisors, their financial planner, their lawyer, the people who already know them well. Getting everyone on the same page is how good outcomes happen, and it’s how I prefer to work.
Outside of work, you’ll find me with my family, or squirreled away somewhere quiet with a coffee, a glass of wine, and a good book. My partner and I also volunteer with our local CFA brigade, which keeps us connected to the Geelong community we’re proud to call home.
