As National Head of Technical Tax and Business Advisory at Moore Australia, I lead our national technical tax strategy, thought leadership, training and quality function from our Perth office. Working alongside partners, advisers and national committees, I focus on strengthening technical capability across the network and supporting the delivery of consistent, commercially focused advice to clients, from privately held groups and family businesses through to larger corporate structures.

With 20 years of experience across professional services and the Australian Taxation Office (ATO), I help advisers navigate legislative change, emerging risks and complex issues in an increasingly challenging regulatory environment. My role is centred on helping advisers navigate complexity, respond to change and deliver confident advice, balancing strong technical outcomes with commercial realities.

Before re-joining Moore Australia, I was Director of Public Groups, Law Interpretation at the ATO, where I led teams responsible for the interpretation and application of complex tax law through both early engagement and formal ruling processes. Earlier in my career, I held senior roles within mid-tier accounting firms and spent several years with Moore Australia (WA) as an Associate Director, giving me a deep understanding of the challenges facing Australian businesses, their advisers and the broader profession.

As the tax and regulatory landscape continues to evolve, my focus is on helping Moore Australia stay ahead of change while maintaining the quality, consistency and practical approach that clients value and trust.
