Bio

Based in Melbourne, I advise multinational organisations, listed companies and privately owned businesses on complex domestic and international tax matters. Much of my work involves helping clients operating across Australia and New Zealand navigate cross-border tax obligations, business restructures, mergers and acquisitions, and global compliance requirements.

Clients I work with operate across agriculture, infrastructure, technology, consumer goods, manufacturing and financial services. Whether you’re managing an established multinational group or growing a privately owned business, my focus is on helping you understand the tax implications of key decisions and supporting sustainable business growth.

With more than 20 years’ experience in Corporate and International Tax, I have advised organisations throughout Australia and New Zealand on a broad range of domestic and cross-border tax matters. A particular area of focus has been supporting trans-Tasman businesses operating across both jurisdictions, helping them manage regulatory requirements while pursuing commercial opportunities.

Before joining Moore Australia, I held senior leadership roles within Big 4 companies, including Director positions within Corporate and International Tax. Earlier in my career, I worked as an Investigations Officer with Inland Revenue New Zealand, providing valuable insight into tax administration and regulatory processes.

A significant part of my work involves transaction and restructuring projects. This includes advising on mergers and acquisitions, vendor and buy-side due diligence, private equity investments, initial public offerings, holding and financing structures, transfer pricing requirements, and domestic and international tax compliance. I also assist multinational groups with tax risk management, post-transaction integration, BEPS obligations, Pillar Two requirements and Country-by-Country reporting.

Good tax advice starts with understanding the bigger picture. Building strong relationships allows me to understand how your business operates, where opportunities exist and where risks may emerge. Staying accessible and responsive is equally important. Complex tax matters often require timely decisions, and clear communication helps ensure challenges are addressed before they become urgent issues. Drawing on a broad network of specialists and industry connections enables me to bring practical, well-rounded advice to every engagement.

I have spent much of my career working across both sides of the Tasman. I regularly contribute thought leadership ideas and enjoy turning complex concepts into practical outcomes that help businesses move forward.
