For more than 20 years, I’ve worked alongside farming families and agricultural businesses, first as an agronomist and now as an agribusiness advisor. My practice covers mixed cropping, livestock, intensive horticulture, and dairy enterprises across Tasmania and Victoria. What sets my work apart is the combination of hands-on production experience with a strong understanding of agribusiness financial management, succession planning, and strategic planning.

My career began in strategic and production agronomy, where I gained firsthand exposure to a wide range of farming systems. Over time, that work expanded into team leadership, business management, and advisory roles. In 2017, I moved into agribusiness financial management and strategic advisory, bringing a production-focused perspective that many traditional accounting or advisory firms simply don’t have. That background means I understand the operational realities behind the numbers, whether it’s seasonal risk, input costs, or the practical constraints of running a family farming operation.

Today, much of my work involves facilitating important conversations within family businesses. These discussions cover financial control, business strategy, risk management, governance, and succession planning. Farming families often carry complex dynamics alongside complex businesses, and I help bring structure and clarity to both. The goal is always the same: helping families achieve their production, personal, and business objectives while building enterprises that are ready when the next opportunity arrives.

Outside of work, I live on a small farm in Tasmania with my wife and three daughters. Time outdoors, in the garden, and with family keeps me connected to the industry I work in every day.
