About the role
About the role
Due to the growth of our teams we are seeking new team members from Accountant to Manager level. In these roles you’ll use your technical and client-facing skills across all areas of business advisory while also gaining niche expertise in the agriculture sector. Our agribusiness team supports clients with everything from bookkeeping and compliance to tax planning, succession, and farm business consulting. You’ll also have the opportunity to travel to regional areas for client visits and community events.
As a manager you will be responsible for:
- Working on assignments for clients including accounts preparation, annual returns, BAS preparation, trusts/companies and monitoring client management reports for underlying business improvement issues
- Providing taxation services including researching and concluding tax issues, verifying financial results and analysing income and expenditure, preparing & checking tax returns and managing FBT system (information gathering, completion and calculation procedures)
- Preparing and reviewing individual, company, trust, partnership tax returns and financial statements
- Maintaining and producing financial reports using Xero, MYOB and Reckon

About you
To thrive in this role with us, you will have:
- Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) or similar undergraduate degree
- Completed Professional Certification – CA, CPA or equivalent
- 3 – 6 years of accounting experience (At least 2Â years in public practice accounting)
- Motivation and a commitment to self-development and career progression
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- A strong ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Be able to demonstrate leadership skills including mentoring team members while managing your individual workload

You’ll use your technical and client-facing skills across all areas of business advisory while also gaining niche expertise in the agriculture sector. Our agribusiness team supports clients with everything from bookkeeping and compliance to tax planning, succession, and farm business consulting. You’ll also have the opportunity to travel to regional areas for client visits and community events.
As an Accountant, you’ll support managers and partners with a range of tasks, including:
- Preparing bank reconciliations, BAS, IAS and financial statements
- Assisting with month-end processes and regular financial reporting
- Reconciling accounts and supporting bookkeeping functions
- Contributing to a client-focused and collaborative team environment

- 1–3 years’ experience in a public practice accounting firm
- CA/CPA studies underway or near completion
