To support our growing and changing business, our Tax and Business Advisory Division are looking for an experienced bookkeeper to join their dedicated team.
This position provides an amazing opportunity for an individual to play an integral role in providing excellent bookkeeping services to a wide range of range of industries and client groups.
This position will cover the full remit of bookkeeping activities including:
- BAS / IAS preparation.
- Data entry.
- Payroll processing.
- Account reconciliation, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Assisting with monthly reporting.
- Providing client support and assisting with queries.
- Having the ability to manage work for and provide exceptional service to various clients.
About you
About You
- You have experience in processing payroll and are technically proficient and up to date with the latest accounting software (Xero and MYOB) and data entry software such as Hubdoc and Dext.
- With a high-level attention to detail, and great organisational skills, you are able to manage your workload, while providing exceptional service to various clients to achieve deadlines.
- A current national police clearance (within six months) and Australian working rights are essential.

2026 Moore Australia (WA) Internship Program
Start your career with Moore Australia (WA) through our paid Internship Program (The Program). The Program runs over the summer semester break and is open to university students in their last year of study.
During the Program, you are paired with a mentor who, just like you, started as an intern and will be an excellent support and resource for you during the Program. You can expect client contact, real-life case studies, plus excellent networking opportunities. More importantly, the experience you gain during the Program will help you make an informed decision about your career pathway, allowing you to secure a position in our Graduate Program.
The Program is set to occur over three weeks, commencing mid-November 2026. During this time, you will be able to participate in rotations spanning different divisions, including Tax and Business Advisory, Audit and Assurance, Governance and Risk Advisory, Corporate Finance, Corporate Tax, Local Government Services and Forensic Services. Moreover, you will complete a thorough onboarding process and collaborate closely with an outstanding team of professionals. With an open-door policy extending to the Partners, this experience offers you a unique opportunity to actively engage in hands-on learning.
Pathway to the 2027 Graduate Program
Upon completion of the Internship, candidates may be invited to join us as Graduate or Undergraduates whilst completing university studies. The Internship will open the door to our Graduate Program set to commence in January 2027, a fantastic career opportunity.

Manager – Tax and Business Advisory

To support our growing and changing business, we are looking for a manager within our Tax and Business Advisory Division. You will act as a mediator between the team, clients, and key stakeholders to proactively address accounting, compliance and business needs.
This position will deliver exceptional service to internal and external stakeholders by understanding each client’s unique circumstances and ensuring smooth team operations. Responsibilities include building trusted relationships, fostering high-performing teams, developing direct reports, and addressing personal and team development needs for continuous improvement.
Working closely with the Partners and leading the team to deliver upon multiple client ledgers with a remit of varying complexities and industries. Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Organising resources to ensure timely and high-quality client work, focusing on profitability and productivity.
- Reviewing accounting and business services for clients, including accounts, BAS, budgets, and management reporting.
- Implementing measures to achieve key performance indicators like productivity, fees, and new clients.
- Analysing financial data and develop action plans to support client growth.
- Preparing and monitor billings on schedule.
About You
- You will be degree qualified with a Bachelor of Commerce / Bachelor of Business or other similar qualification.
- Have completed a CA or CPA qualification.
- You are technically proficient and up to date with the latest accounting software developments (cloud-based accounting software).
- Sound judgement, critical thinking and analytical skills are vital in supporting client service delivery requirements.
- You will also possess a high level of drive, integrity and organisational skills, able to manage and coordinate a variety of internal stakeholders to support the team to achieve goals and deadlines.
- Your key strengths are your commitment to provide exceptional client services, and team leadership. Your highly collaborative approach will enable you to build networks and establish trusting business relationships.

Due to growth in our Tax and Business Advisory division, we are seeking a highly motivated Senior Accountant to join our dynamic team.
Responsibilities include:
- Preparing financial statements, tax returns and activity statements.
Assisting junior team members in the preparation of financial statements and tax returns while also supporting their professional development. - Fostering and contributing to a client-focused team and supportive workplace culture.
- Attending and participating in training sessions.
- Running client meetings for small business and personal tax clients.
- Assisting Directors and Managers with tax planning, research, and advice.
- Networking to strengthen the Moore brand to build and maintain client relationships.
- Keeping updated with changes to accounting standards, tax laws and other regulatory requirements.
About You
- You are degree qualified with a Bachelor of Commerce / Bachelor of Business or similar qualifications.
- Have attained or are nearing completion of a CA or CPA qualification.
- Have a minimum of three years’ experience in a similar role.
- You are able to prepare complex income tax returns.
- You are able to coach and mentor junior team members.
