This is a diverse role, which will see you partnering with clients across a range of industries – including indigenous businesses and entrepreneurial clients. You will have direct client relationships and get involved in their daily business operations, to help their businesses operate and thrive.

You will work closely with the Director and senior leadership, taking ownership of client engagements and contributing to the delivery of commercially focused outcomes.

As a Senior Accountant, you will play a key role in fostering a high-performing team environment and delivering exceptional outcomes for our clients. Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Preparing and reviewing management reporting and financial analysis using Xero and MYOB
  • Cash flow forecasting, budgeting and financial modelling for clients
  • Deliver commercial advisory services to support client business performance and growth
  • Manage client relationships, partnering closely to provide management consulting and corporate governance advice
  • Oversee tax compliance and annual financial reporting through to annual general meetings ensuring accuracy, efficiency and best practice outcomes
  • Liasing with various stakeholders associated with these clients including business partners, government regulators, lawyers and auditors

About you

About you

The successful candidate will demonstrate strong experience within public practice accounting, supported by a relevant tertiary qualification, and will ideally be CA or CPA qualified. You will have an established background within professional services, with experience delivering both taxation compliance and business advisory services across a diverse and technically complex client base.

You will possess strong technical knowledge, with the ability to prepare and review financial statements and management reports, while confidently interpreting financial information to provide meaningful commercial insights and advise to clients. As a trusted advisor, you’ll be comfortable working directly with clients, understanding their business objectives, and contributing to strategic decision-making. Ideally, you are proactive and personable, with strong attention to detail, a commercial mindset, and a genuine interest in how businesses operate, perform and grow.

Ultimately, you are looking to grow – stepping beyond taxation compliance into broader management, governance and business advisory work.

Client Service Officer

We are looking for a proactive and customer service focused person to join our Administration Team. The successful applicant will be committed to providing high quality administrative support to our Accountants and Partners.

About the role

Based in our Coffs Harbour office, you will step into a varied administration role (internally known as a Client Service Coordinator). You’ll be liaising with staff and clients, supporting our accounting team, and ensuring smooth delivery of services. No two days will be the same!

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide general administration support including phone and email communication
  • Deliver exceptional client service to internal and external stakeholders
  • Work closely with Partners, Managers and Accountants
  • Maintain regular contact with clients (in person and over the phone)
  • Set up new clients and update details in databases and portals
  • Support Accountants to ensure work meets quality standards
  • Provide administrative support to the wider team and Office Manager
  • Manage documentation and records
  • Schedule client appointments
  • Check MyGov and ATO portals
  • Assist with ad hoc administration tasks

Client Service Officer

About the role

We are seeking a high-performing Client Service Officer to join the Moore Australia team in our Adelaide office. If you are looking for a challenge, enjoy client contact and working as an integral part of a team, this role would be ideal for you.

You will be responsible in assisting the Business Advisory Services team with all client interactions and compliance requirements. This includes a broad range of activities, including:

  • Maintaining the accuracy of our client base through adding new clients and changing client details, including advising both the ATO and ASIC of the same;
  • Attending to all corporate compliance obligations for the team’s client base;
  • Co-ordinate the formation of new companies, trusts and SMSF’s;
  • Preparing client engagement letters, creating client jobs in our practice management system, and scheduling the inflow of annual compliance work;
  • Assist with client job workflow management;
  • Preparation of client packs for electronic sending for all job types;
  • Assist with the preparation and sending of client fee invoices;
  • Managing the flow of client correspondence, ensuring all time critical obligations are met;
  • Administrative support, including management of ATO lodgement program for the team;
  • Attending to all other administrative matters as requested by the team.

  • Previous Client Service Officer experience in a Professional Services business, ideally public practice;
