About the role

As an experienced Client Finance Officer, you will work with a portfolio of clients, getting hands-on and servicing their end-to-end bookkeeping requirements. In this collaborative role, you will work with a range of internal and external stakeholders, to ultimately ensure the smooth running of our clients’ daily transactions.

In this challenging & rewarding role, you will manage transactions in XERO and MYOB, maintain strong client relationships and ensure compliance.

Key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Managing accounts receivable/payable
  • Managing debt collection processes
  • Preparation of Profit and Loss statements & reporting
  • Preparation of Balance Sheets
  • Conducting end-to-end payroll processing and reconciliations, including superannuation, payroll tax and WorkCover
  • Preparing BAS/IAS for review and lodgement

About You

The successful candidate will demonstrate experience working in a similar role, including bookkeeping, financial administration, or of a finance officer within an accounting firm/consulting environment. Ideally, you will have the ability to develop and maintain strong interpersonal relationships, experience using accounting software (XERO & MYOB), and proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel.

The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail and organisational skills, enabling them to produce accurate work within set deadlines. Additionally, the successful candidate will demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with the ability to build positive relationships with others.
