As an Assistant Manager in our Business Advisory division, you will provide accounting solutions to a diverse range of our clients. You’ll also have the opportunity to mentor and provide guidance to your junior colleagues, as well as gaining exposure to complex technical challenges required to further enhance your career.

You will be responsible for a broad range of accounting and management activities including, but not limited to:

  • Maintaining, producing and interpreting financial reports using Xero, MYOB and Reckon APS

The CFO Advisory Accountant supports a diverse portfolio of clients, including ASX-listed entities, not-for-profit organisations, and small to mid-sized businesses. Intern Accountant

Start your career with Moore Australia QLD/NNSW through our Internship Program (Brisbane or Beenleigh). The program runs during the June/July and November/December university breaks and is open to students in their penultimate or final year of study.

This is an in-office internship of up to 3 weeks, with up to full-time hours. To be considered, you must be available Monday to Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm for the duration of your placement. It’s designed to give you a genuine feel for our office, culture and the day-to-day work of a professional accounting firm—with potential opportunity for ongoing employment at the end of the program.

Rotations by Office

Your rotations will be planned based on business needs and team capacity. Depending on your selected office, you may have the opportunity to rotate through:

  • Brisbane: Business Advisory, Audit, Superannuation, Taxation, Forensic Services.
  • Beenleigh: Business Advisory.

What You’ll Do

Across your rotations, you’ll experience what it’s like to be an accountant through a mix of shadowing and hands-on support work.
