Bio
I advise businesses on audit, corporate governance, and risk management with a commercial perspective that looks beyond compliance to strengthen how organisations operate and grow.
I specialise in external audit, corporate governance, risk management, and financial reporting advice. My work starts with understanding your business, its commercial drivers, and the risks that matter most, rather than applying a narrow, rules-based approach. That commercial lens shapes every engagement, whether it involves an external audit, a governance review, or a redesign of systems and processes.
As former Chair of the Moore Australia Audit and Assurance Committee, I helped establish the firm’s audit methodology and quality control frameworks. That role extended internationally when I served as the APAC representative on the Moore Global Audit Committee, working to define consistent professional standards and auditor requirements across the network. The experience gave me a thorough understanding of what high-quality audit practice looks like, from local engagements through to complex, multi-jurisdictional mandates.
Beyond client work, I contribute regularly to industry and professional associations through publications and speaking engagements, offering commentary and analysis on current developments in audit, governance, and risk management.
Understanding your business, not just your financial statements, is where good audit and advisory work begins. I take a forward-looking, commercially minded approach to every engagement and make it a priority to communicate clearly, cutting through technical complexity so you can make informed decisions with confidence. You’ll find me straightforward and approachable.
