Moore Australia has recorded a 14.4 per cent increase in revenue for the 2024-2025 financial year, in a year where the AFR Top 100 data tells a tale of two halves for accounting networks across the country.
Against that backdrop, the Moore Australia network has been ranked 5th nationally for year-on-year growth among the top-20, and 19th overall in the Australian Financial Review’s Top 100 accounting firms list for 2025. The result reflects the combined strength of Moore across Australia, supported by the reach of the Moore Global network.
Growth over the past year has been driven by a mix of strategic expansion, including acquisitions and strong ongoing organic growth across advisory, tax, audit and broader business services across the Moore Australia network. It has also been underpinned by a deliberate focus on people and technology, including the establishment of a national AI Taskforce and continued investment in leadership development.
David Tomasi, Chairman of Moore Australia, said the result shows how a connected national network can respond to the changing needs of clients.
“Clients are looking for advisers who can combine deeper and better insight with genuine human judgement. Our growth tells us that a connected national network of independent firms, backed by global reach, is a compelling alternative. In this past year we have focused strongly on enhancing our collaborative capabilities both as a national and global network. Connected, we can support larger clients with bigger projects. We also continue to invest in our people, in responsible use of AI and in bringing firms together, so we can stand alongside clients as their businesses and risks evolve.”

The Moore Australia AI Taskforce is one example of the collaborative structure which underpins the network. Firstly, it harnesses and fosters the innovative spirit that drives our success, but it also ensures the practical, responsible use of artificial intelligence in client service, support for people and governance. This work aligns with a broader industry trend, with industry peers using AI to move from a pure compliance focus towards more real time advice and value creation for clients.
At the same time, Moore Australia continues to invest in the skills that technology cannot replace. In 2025, the network delivered its second national Emerging Leaders Conference, which is designed to equip future leaders with the communication, relationship and problem-solving skills needed in a more technology enabled profession. This reflects a wider emphasis in the profession on graduates and emerging leaders who bring social skills, resilience and curiosity alongside strong technical foundations.
David said the network’s focus will remain on helping clients, people and communities to navigate change.
“The AFR Top 100 list is a useful barometer of where the profession is heading. For us, the story behind the numbers is simple. When you connect professionals that care deeply about their clients, support them with modern tools, invest in the next generation of leaders, and back it with outstanding and robust quality management practices, you create a platform for sustainable growth. That is the path we are on as a network.”
