ASIC must be notified of any statutory changes that occur by the due date and failure to do so will incur late lodgement penalties payable by the company. These changes include but are not limited to changes to address details, changes to the members register, changes to the share structure, and appointment/resignation of company officeholders.
You must notify us of any changes and provide us with the necessary information in a timely manner to ensure ASIC are notified by the required due date.
It is a director’s responsibility to govern a company on behalf of the shareholders, making them personally responsible for the upkeep of the company. They must comply with the basic legal requirements under the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth) and always know what the company is doing. We encourage you to become familiar with the director responsibilities at: www.asic.gov.au/for-business/running-a-company.
