Bio

Advising government and non-government organisations on governance, risk, compliance, and assurance to build stronger institutions and safer systems.

I work with government and non-government organisations across Melbourne and nationally, advising on governance, risk management, regulatory compliance, and internal audit. My clients include federal, state, and local government bodies, not-for-profit organisations, and private sector entities navigating complex regulatory environments where the stakes are high and the margin for error is small.

More than two decades of experience in professional services underpin this work. My career has been built on leading significant risk and assurance initiatives, supporting boards, audit and risk committees to deliver audit and assurance programmes, respond to Royal Commissions, enact major regulatory reforms, and manage social, reputational, and strategic risks. That depth of exposure means I understand not only what good governance looks like on paper, but what it takes to make it work in practice.

A particular area of focus is child safety and safeguarding, including the development of child safety practices, quality standards auditing, and implementation of recommendations arising from Royal Commissions. Alongside this, my advisory work covers compliance and performance audits, quality assurance, and the design of frameworks, controls, and policies that translate regulatory obligations into operational reality.

Throughout my career, I’ve worked closely with boards, secretaries, executives, regulators, ministers, and front-line service providers. That range of stakeholders has shaped how I approach every engagement: with clarity about who is affected, what the risks are, and what practical steps will strengthen governance and protect the people and communities an organisation serves.

As a Director in Moore Australia’s Governance and Risk Advisory practice in Melbourne, I bring all of this experience to bear for clients across federal, state and local government, education, healthcare, aged care, Indigenous organisations, not-for-profit, and tourism and hospitality sectors.
