As our Employment Relations Adviser, you will play a key role in supporting our clients across a range of employee relations matters, working closely with senior stakeholders, including the People & Culture Director, to provide practical and commercially sound advice.

As part of the broader Moore HR Partners team, you will partner with leaders to manage workplace matters end-to-end, including performance, conduct and investigations. You will operate as a trusted advisor, ensuring matters are handled consistently, fairly, and in line with employment legislation and best practice. This is a hands-on, specialist role where you will take ownership of employee relations matters, while also supporting the wider team with guidance and insight across complex people issues.

This role is ideally suited to an experienced professional who is confident working autonomously, enjoys navigating sensitive and complex matters, and is seeking a flexible, part-time opportunity within a collaborative professional services environment.

Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Managing employee relations matters including performance, misconduct, grievances and terminations
  • Drafting and reviewing reports, correspondence and documentation relating to workplace matters
  • Providing clear, practical advice to leaders on workplace issues and risk mitigation
  • Conducting workplace investigations, ensuring fairness and compliance
  • Interpreting and applying employment legislation, awards and internal policies
  • Supporting performance management processes and documentation
  • Coaching managers on handling complex people matters
  • Maintaining accurate documentation and ensuring compliance with legal requirements

About you

The successful candidate will demonstrate experience within employee relations, bringing a strong understanding of employment legislation, along with the confidence and judgement to manage workplace matters independently. With a hands-on approach, you are comfortable supporting leaders across a range of employee relations matters, including performance, conduct and investigations, providing clear, practical and commercially sound advice. You will have excellent attention to detail and a meticulous approach to reviewing work, ensuring accuracy and identifying potential issues early.

You enjoy working in a collaborative environment, while also taking ownership of your work, known for your professionalism, discretion and ability to build trusted relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
