Matt leads the Queensland and Northern New South Wales firm as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and has 20 years’ experience in professional services across Australia and Asia.  Matt has held executive level professional services positions for the past 15 years.

Matt works seamlessly across the firm and is responsible for implementing the firm’s strategy, day-to-day operations and managing key stakeholder relationships.  As CEO, Matt also leads the partnership and staff.  He represents the firm nationally and across the Moore Global network.

In addition to his CEO role, Matt has extensive experience with guiding client service teams across various sectors, including the private sector, government and non-for-profit.

Matt’s advice is sought by C-suite Executives and Boards across strategy, leadership and strategic finance. Matt regularly leads clients through the development of effective organisational strategy, identification and delivery of initiatives designed to generate new sources of revenue, and programs designed to transform organisational operating models.

Matt has led various successful merger and acquisition initiatives, from deal origination, valuation and modelling, due diligence and transaction support, from both the buy and sell side.  He has a track record in enhancing shareholder value via successful merger integration and cost-out initiatives.

Matt’s other passion lies in developing high performing professional service teams and supporting strategic client relationships. 

As CEO of Moore Australia (QLD/NNSW), Matt leads a team of 19 partners and more than 150 staff members in six offices across Queensland and Northern New South Wales.
