The State Treasurer, the Honorable Ben Wyatt MLA delivered the 2020-21 Western Australia State Budget on Thursday 8 October 2020.
 
Like all Budgets around Australia, the Western Australia State Budget was responding to the COVID-19 pandemic. It focused on maintaining and creating new local jobs and supporting the on-going recovery of Western Australia.
 
The recovery plan includes over 500 recovery initiatives across 21 priority streams from boosting local manufacturing to investing in new technology, reskilling the workforces, investing in schools, hospitals, and community infrastructure, revitalising culture and arts and investing in tourism.
