Moore Australia congratulates client myDNA, for its announcement in the Australian Financial Review this week of its $71.0m acquisition of exercise and nutrition program 28 by Sam Wood (Australian Life Tech - ALT).

myDNA seeks to empower consumers to unlock the data in their DNA to personalise everyday health decisions, such as how a person’s genes affect the way the body responds to food.  With the ALT acquisition they are looking to apply this genetic information to fitness programs.  MyDNA operates three revenue streams: genetic genealogy services; laboratory clinical testing (and infrastructure) in Houston and Melbourne; and a subscription service business to business to consumer (B2B2C) business.
