South Australian premier, Steven Marshall, has announced a $350m package in response to the COVID-19 outbreak.

The package includes current infrastructure projects being brought forward and the announcement of new projects for road maintenance, housing, tourism and health.

The Economic and Business Growth Fund was also expanded to support specific industry sectors.  Eligible projects for the funding must meet certain criteria, including the ability to start works within a short period of time, that they must be labour-intensive or require significant local purchasing of materials, services and supplies.
