About the role

As a Senior Accountant based in our Beenleigh Office, you will complete client work across a range of accounting, compliance, and advisory services. You will be entrusted to provide the best possible service to our diverse range of clients.

You will have the opportunity to:

  • Work on assignments for clients including accounts preparation, annual returns, BAS preparation, trusts/companies and monitoring client management reports for underlying business improvement issues
  • Provide taxation services including researching and concluding tax issues, verifying financial results and analyse income and expenditure, prepare & check tax returns and gather and manage FBT system (information gathering, completion and calculation procedures)
  • Prepare and review individual, company, trust, partnership tax returns and financial statements
  • Maintain and produce financial reports using Xero, MYOB and Reckon
  • Contribute positively to the culture of Moore Australia and work with others to achieve team goals

About you

To succeed in this role, you will be;

  • Someone with 3 years’ professional services experience, with an emphasis on accounting and tax
  • CA/CPA qualified or working towards being qualified
  • Client focused, with a ‘can do’ and steadfast attitude
  • An excellent communicator, verbal and written
  • Deadline driven with good attention to detail
  • Detail orientated and professional
  • Great at building rapport and trust
