We are a collaborative team, which is passionate about the work we do and is now seeking a personable Accountant to join our Business Advisory team in Darwin! About the role

This is a challenging & rewarding role, which will see you progress into the next phase of your career with solid training, support and technical exposure. You will work closely with the Partner and other senior members of the team, assisting with the provision of advice & ad hoc advisory work to provide a range of accounting solutions to a diverse and growing client base. 

Furthermore, your key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • Producing & maintaining financial reports, using Xero, MYOB and Reckon Software 
  • Preparation of management accounts, cash flow forecasts and KPI’s for clients
  • Preparing BAS & IAS returns 
  • Preparing tax returns, FBT & financial statements for different business entity types
  • Calculating and reconciliation of payroll tax
  • Assisting with the development of junior colleagues 

About you

The ideal candidate will demonstrate established accounting experience, with a relevant tertiary qualification and will be studying/aspiring to CA or CPA qualifications. You will possess a good technical knowledge and ability to generate financial statements & management reports, as well as being able to confidently communicate the contents to clients. Ideally, you will be proactive and personable, have a high level of attention to detail and big plans for your future!
